Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will be 5th graders ready and eager to be the top learners of the school. They were previous 4th graders who are very bright and eager learners. They love to read and challenge themselves to get all the Sunshine State Young Reader books read. These books will encourage them to participate in the school wide reading challenge. Every year we struggle to check these books out of our school and public library. By having them readily available in the classroom will make it easier for them to pick up a book and read.

Reading brings my students into a world of amazing learning through many different avenues.

Not only are they reading by practicing their comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary skills but also exposing them to a variety of quality literature. Your support in our project is greatly appreciated.
