Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I want to send my students off into the summer with something special to ignite their creativity and bring them joy. Knowing their love for painting, I've decided to provide them with materials that will foster their love for self-expression and artistic exploration.
My students' unique passions and deep affection for art set them apart and make them truly exceptional.
My goal is to have enough supplies to make art kits for each one of my 110 plus students. Students will be able to use the watercolors, markers and modeling clay to create wonderful works of art. During the summer, some students may experience moments of loneliness, especially if their parents are working or the find themselves spending a lot of time alone. By providing them with these gifts, my hope is to offer them a touch of joy and a reminder of the fun learning experiences we shared throughout the school year.
