Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is special for many reasons. After being moved to a K-1 Special Education class this year I realized I was missing a lot of things that made learning fun and could help build my students foundational skills in reading and math. Many of the supplies I am requesting will help build our use of centers next year and provide students with hands on learning fun.

I want to prepare my students for a summer of fun and learning.

Some of the supplies in this project will be given to the students to take home (new books, crayons, pencil sharpeners, and snacks) to provide continued learning (and snacks) over the summer. There is nothing like opening a brand new book or a brand new box of crayons.

My class is filled with a variety of different learners making each one unique and special. I want to highlight the genius in all of them and bring out their love of learning.
