My Project

I would love to be able to end the year with a special gift for each student that they can use to continue learning over the summer. I plan to add a class photo and a photo with me to the inside covers of the books. There will also be a short note from me about what I love most about each student. I will also add learning resources such as alphabet and word charts into the notebooks so that students can continue learning over the summer.

This year has been challenging for my students because it included a school move and I would love to provide them something exciting to celebrate all their hard work and learning.

This move was due to a power panel failure over winter break. We moved to a new school and new classroom in February. My students have shown so much resilience and strength. I am so proud of them.

Each student would receive a book to continue reading over summer and a journal. This group has loved writing and drawing and I would love to support them in continuing these skills over the summer. Allowing them to leave Kindergarten with learning tools would hopefully allow them to maintain more skills over the summer and start 1st grade strong.
