Your donation has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our students, our school community, and the way we bring technology to life in the classroom.\r\n\r\nOur fourth-grade students are now actively learning about technology through hands-on experience. They are not only using the 3D printer itself, but also engaging with online design interfaces to create and prepare their own prints. This has helped them build critical skills in problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy—skills that will serve them well into the future.\r\n\r\nBeyond instruction, the printer has become an important tool for supporting student engagement and well-being. We are creating small fidgets that students can use during class to help with focus, as well as sharing some with younger siblings who attend parent-teacher conferences. These small items have had a big impact in making our classroom more inclusive and supportive.\r\n\r\nWe also use the printer to celebrate and motivate students. Larger prints are given out during our monthly classroom prize drawings, creating excitement and encouraging positive behavior. When students move away from our school, we create special prints for them as a keepsake, helping them feel remembered and valued.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donation extends beyond our classroom to the entire school. The 3D printer supports our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention System) by contributing two large prints each month to our school-wide Pride Store—one for TK–2nd grade students and another for 3rd–5th grade students. Students earn \"Pride Tickets\" for positive behavior and can exchange them for rewards, making these 3D-printed items highly motivating incentives.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, other teachers have begun requesting prints for their own classrooms, further expanding the reach of your generosity across our school community.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our students are not only learning about technology—they are experiencing it in a meaningful, engaging, and inspiring way. Thank you for making this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1769052400693,"projectUrl":"project/the-world-in-3d/10040663/","projectTitle":"The World in 3D","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gutierrez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1952710_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1626715255627","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/hillarygutierrez"},{"teacherId":5077995,"projectId":9882350,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for supporting my students in Transitional Kindergarten.
