Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I wanted to give my students an end of year party about Earth Day that they will surely remember! I am going to do a room transformation about earth day. They will sit on the towels using the water bottles to drink from. They will play all kinds of games related to learning but with an Earth Day theme. They will use the chalk and the playdoh to do math activities.

Just because this is an end of the year party does not mean that learning stops.

They will have to choose a book in our class library to read while they are on the beach towels. We will do math challenges. We will make all kinds of save the earth projects with these resources. I will teach them to reduce, recuse, and recycle!

The summer bridge book will allow the students to prepare for their next school year while enjoying the summer break.
