My Students

“When something bad happens, you have three choices, you can either let it define you, you can let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you!” Let’s choose to strengthen ourselves! My students are awesome! My classroom consists of nine, amazing students all of whom have emotional disabilities. My team and I provide students with a range of therapeutic interventions that best match their emotional and behavioral needs. We also strive to meet their academic

needs and goals.

The students receive academic classroom instruction in conjunction with psychotherapeutic interventions.

My Project

These chairs will make a difference! My classroom consists of students with emotional disabilities. They have not only emotional and behavioral needs but academic needs as well. My goal is to best meet all of their needs in order for them to be as successful as possible. So many demands are put on children with or without disabilities. However, students with disabilities may feel more of the pressure. Providing them with a space to go to complete academic work or even a safe space to regroup in order to return to learning would make a tremendous impact in their lives.
