I am headed into my third year of teaching and am excited to continue my career in education. This year I am switching districts and grade levels. While I’ve never taught 5th grade before, I am excited to learn all about the upper grade level.
My new students are amazing and have a real desire to learn.
They come in every day with a smile on their face and an enthusiasm for school. I want them to have a fabulous year in 5th grade because they deserve it.
I want my students to have a fully stocked classroom and be given the access to education that they deserve. My students have already made such a positive impact on my life and I want to do the same for them.
My Project
My students and I are quickly wrapping up the end of the school year!
We are in need of some items to help us have a successful end of the year.
We use post its constantly in 5th grade during all subject areas and these will help us continue to use them. We also use sharpies to outline our work and copy over some of our writing.
Our classroom is a tropical theme and we can use additional pillows on our flexible seating bench. I also use pineapple cutouts to label students end of the year projects.
We are currently down to one recess ball because our others have been lost over the fence. These recess balls will help keep my students active during recess and PE!
Our charging station is lacking and a power strip will help us keep our Chromebooks charged and ready to use. Our headphone and mouse area is also a mess. The shoe holder will help keep our headphones and mice more organized!
