My students are awesome! They all come from diverse backgrounds, but they come ready to learn and soak up new experiences. Although our school is in a rural community, we have a diverse population of students. Many of our students are fairly new to our country and are just learning to speak English.
My classroom is a place where kids can come together to learn and have fun regardless of their differences or needs.
Throughout the school year, we work hard to improve academically, socially, emotionally and we build relationships within the community.
My Project
My students are in need of finishing the school year with the basics of school supplies. We need scissors, tape, and poster strips to show case our amazing work.
Please do not let basic supplies be what stops my students from getting the best education they deserve.
As the year has progressed many of the supplies that I have on hand for students have been consumed.
Many of my students come to class on a daily basis lacking the basic supplies they need to successfully do their work. I try to supply what I can much of the time but sometimes cannot. The supplies in this project will help my students on an everyday basis. All of these supplies will be very beneficial to my students on a daily basis.
Many students come to school as their safe place and do not have the means to get the supplies from home that they need in the classroom. Many of my students could be much more successful in my room with a supply of basic classroom supplies.
