My Students

I teach many English language learners who are anxious to succeed and learn something new each day! We have a dedicated staff of teachers at our school who bring their best to the class, and to each and every lesson they teach.

Some of my students come from homes that do not have the technology, such as home computers or even basic Internet access.

I teach at a Title I school where roughly half of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. They are working their hardest to try to learn as much as they can and to develop good study skills.

My Project

We need to renew and add to our class subscriptions! We presently have a subscription to Pandora music but we would like to create the more personalized classroom playlists that are available in Spotify. We love music in our classroom but we need it to be advertisement free and only the Premium accounts allow for that!

We will be hosting a huge parent event this year and would like to have a special Hollywood playlist adding music to the venue!

We also need to renew our BrainPOP subscription that is expiring soon. My students LOVE BrainPOP and Tim and Moby keep them totally engaged in learning!

Lastly, in order to add a personal touch to our Red Carpet Writing parent event, we want to use the Cricut to create personalized items. We will also be able to use this access to help us create our t-shirts for camp in the spring!
