Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are juniors and seniors in an urban city high school who have an interest in entering a medical or health profession. Many of them are from immigrant families and low-income backgrounds, striving to have a better future for themselves and their families. We have an Anatomage digital cadaver table at our school that I would like to integrate into our anatomy and physiology curriculum.

This donation will provide materials to allow all students to collaborate while learning about anatomy and physiology on the Anatomage Table.

The stylus + pen combos, clipboards, and pen holders will let students interact with the Anatomage and make notes easily as they move around the lab. The name badges will help them easily identify who are in their lab groups and simulate a professional setting. In addition to this amazing digital resource, the coloring books will provided non-digital visual resources for students to practice identify parts of the human anatomy.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
