My students need sturdy stools for their guided reading tables for small group instruction.
This project expired on July 14, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Students in my school come from a low-income area where 99% of them are awarded free lunch. Many of them come from broken homes, bounce around to different relatives, and some are even in shelters. The school has 5-7 classes on each grade, and many classrooms have many students with special needs who need a little extra TLC, visuals, and repetition. My school offers these kids a warm, safe, and loving environment daily.
Although most students have a tough start in life, they come to school eager to learn and do their very best.
My students come to their kidney tables for small group instruction several times a day in almost all subject areas. Currently, they have big, bulky chairs that do not fit comfortably under the tables. Additionally, we did purchase some stools, but they aren't too study and two have unfortunately broken already!
My students need sturdy stools to minimize discomfort and maximize learning!
Having sturdy stools to sit on during their instruction will make them feel more at ease and help them get the most they can out of their small group instruction. Helping to fund this project will directly help fund their learning!
