My Project

Our student athletes want to advance their stunting routines to enhance their cheerleading skills. Our squad only one mat at the current moment, but to increase safety we would like to add 4 more mats. This will allow all student athletes to stunt at the same time. This helps them with the basic idea of stunting and it also helps to build the self-esteem that they need. As they progress, they will be able to do team and independent work to build strength and to be able to practice all together. We will be able to take these with us when we travel and use them to perform as needed.

The mat will play many roles in the program for the student athletes.

The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to stunt without worry and the freedom to try new things. This will enhance the environment in the gym not only in safety but also in organization as well.
