Stunt the Sport

Help me give my students new team jerseys to support them with the come back of high school sports. Sports are important because they help fight depression and anxiety. Sports also help build confidence, leadership, and self-respect.

My Students

Most people when they hear Stunt the sport, have no idea what it is. There is very little funding if any provided to the team of Stunt.

Stunt removes the crowd-leading element and focuses on the technical and athletic components of cheer.

Our students who are on the School Stunt Team derived from competitive cheerleading.

STUNT involves athletes participating in partner stunts, pyramids, tosses, jumps, and tumbling. These skills include height, inversion, and rotation of the body as well as working in coordination with other athletes to perform these skills.

In March of 2020, the STUNT community received news that after 10 years in the making, the NCAA's Committee on Women's Athletics (CWA) had recommended adding STUNT as an NCAA Emerging Sport. This provides our female athletes with the chance to receive scholarships for college.

My Project

Purchase 60 new stunt jerseys for our team. Our uniforms have been used for the past 6 years. They are outdated and the fabric does not move freely. New jerseys will encourage the unity of the team and keep them motivated to perform at their best all season.

The new type of jerseys are made with wick-away and breathable fabric to help the athlete move freely but at the same time be form-fitting.

These new jerseys are made to move effortlessly with the athlete's body, last longer, and wash up better. With these new jerseys are girls will be able to perform better because the jerseys will fit them better.
