My Students

I will have an eager group of honors Sophomore students next year, and I want to expose them to a wide variety of world literature.

My students are from a high needs area and many students do not have a lot of family support and our school is a place of support and community.

The staff works tirelessly to close any academic gaps and teach exciting, rigorous, relevant work aligned with Common Core.

My Project

A Doll's House will be one of the two pieces of drama students encounter sophomore year; students will master interpreting text, character analysis, literary devices, use of reading fluency, and understanding the influence of cultural elements and setting on writing. I have also requested a teacher's guide.

By donating to this particular project, you will help ensure students have access to materials that will prepare them for higher level classes (especially AP Literature) and experience dramatic works by interpreting for multiple levels of meaning.
