Students in my school really see the benefit of reading on paper and loved having brand new copies; they are doing so well with taking care of them. \r\n\r\nHandmaid's Tale will be introduced next year, but I can't wait to have the two classes using that text learn about non linear text structure, the use of color symbolism and imagery, dystopian plot structures, and the function of inner monologue. I am so excited about the high level work these kids will do. \r\n\r\nOthello went over so well. The students excelled with the plot and really mastered the use of foreshadowing, dramatic irony, and character motivation. They we a little disappointed Iago was allowed to live, but they rank this as the best Shakespearean play.
