My Students

My students come from a diverse group of families. I have students that have immigrated from around the world and are learning to converse in English in addition to obtaining the skills necessary to be a strong learner. I have students in my class that experience food insecurity. I also have students that fit the model of a traditional middle income family.

Despite their challenges many of my students experience in their home life, all of them enter my classroom eager to learn.

They are adapting to the changes in all of our lives and doing their best to place an emphasis on academics.

My Project

By providing hands-on science and math learning materials, students will continue to be engaged in their learning at school, even when the world around them is challenging.

Today's learners are tomorrow's leaders.

Engaging young learners with quality materials in the STEM fields is essential to creating the critical thinking and problem solving skills that will be necessary to provide solutions for problems that we are currently facing.

With all of the discouraging happenings our children face today, let's give them an opportunity to forget those challenges and thrive in our classrooms.
