it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a public school where we serve diverse students, many of whom come from low-income households. Despite our students' challenges, they are incredibly eager to learn and engage with their education, particularly in subjects like math, where hands-on learning can make all the difference.
I request your support in providing essential math manipulatives to help our students better understand key concepts and develop the skills they need to succeed; specifically, I hope to acquire fraction strips, number lines, graph whiteboards, and division/multiplication whiteboards.
The fraction tiles, fraction cubes, number lines, and other tools are invaluable for students who struggle with abstract concepts. They allow them to visualize and interact with mathematical problems. By providing these resources, you would be helping to create a more engaging and effective learning environment for our students. With your donation, I am confident students will become more confident, capable mathematicians.
