I am proposing the acquisition of furniture to improve our classroom environment, particularly for students who are concurrently enrolled in college courses. By purchasing chairs, a couch, a rug, and lighting this space will become a lounge/learning area for dual-enrolled students taking online classes. They do not have a welcoming space at this time and this will be a space for years to come for students to learn independently in and feel comfortable and warmth while doing so. It's essential that these students feel comfortable while engaging in online learning daily. By enhancing the atmosphere, we aim to provide them with the flexibility they need to adapt their learning styles effectively.
The primary objective of this project is to establish a welcoming environment conducive to independent learning.
It's crucial that these students feel valued and deserving of a new and improved learning atmosphere. Creating a space that fosters a sense of belonging and positivity can significantly impact their outlook on learning and school as a whole. Therefore, investing in furniture that promotes comfort and flexibility is an investment in the well-being and academic success of these students.
