Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me create a creative space for my students to grow their learning. I am a new teacher at a Title I community partnership school who will be teaching 4th-grade Math and Science. These resources will allow my two classes of 20 students each to engage in hands-on learning such as Science experiments and math activities. Supplies such as erasers, pencils, and dry-erase board supplies will help my students explore while supplies such as notebooks, folders, and paper will help students to organize their thoughts and work.

Students of all backgrounds deserve equal learning opportunities.

My students come from various backgrounds, which gives the classroom special learning opportunities to grow. My students learn best when they can engage in hands-on learning around the room. My goal for this project is to create an environment where my students can engage in hands-on scientific experiments and math learning games. These resources are supplies that students are often unable to provide themselves. Any support is greatly appreciated as I am unable to currently provide basic supplies for my students. These resources will help my students focus on their learning instead of how they will find these resources themselves.
