This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We can't let our recently-arrived immigrant and refugee students worry about attending school because they don’t have the necessary materials! The items on this list are selected in order to provide each student with basic study materials such as binders and binder organizing materials.

None of these materials (binders) are provided by the district or school site, which means the financial burden falls upon teachers and their communities.

All of my students have overcome innumerable barriers to pursue a better education and future. With your donation, these supplies will not only help students to participate more in class but also instill a sense of belonging in their new environment. Thank you for your support!
