Help me give my students an Ipad Mini to use latest weather technology and learn to be meteorologists.

My Project

Coming up in the next few months, eighth grade students in Des Moines, IA will be studying the weather unit. The school has purchased a wireless weather station and we would like to be able to connect the data to a singular classroom device that can be passed around. With this information, they will be able to make mini podcasts and recorded weather predictions, based on what they are learning and the factual data they are collecting. This would be a fun and engaging way to end the school year and get students excited about learning new technologies.

The item I have asked for is an Apple Ipad Mini so we can take it outside with us and around the school while learning how weather works and creating meteorology reports.

I want to give students the power to create and learn something meaningful that I know they will enjoy. With most jobs these days stressing the importance of technology, I want these kids to have a leg up on their future competition! Thank you for considering to help these amazing kids!
