Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me supply my students with the hygiene kits they'll need. My students all come from immigrant families who are trying to make ends meet. Some of these families have to work two jobs in order to help build a better life for their children. Throughout the school year I have helped to build a solid learning foundation for my students so they can succeed in their lives. Now it's time to support them with their basic needs. Students need to have their basic needs met in order for them to succeed in school. These basic needs include having a stable home, food and proper hygiene.

For some of my students it's hard for them to have a stable home considering they live in shelters.

This alone creates a challenge for my students to focus on their education when they have this problem at home. My goal is to relieve some of their stress. Which is why getting these hygiene kits would be the prefect end of the school year gifts. It'll show them that our school will always care about their well-being. And these items will be one less thing that their families will need to worry about.
