Many of my students are not aware of the fine art in their own community. This year, I want my students to be introduced to the fine art in their community and other places around the world.
I work with 120 of the most hardworking and creative students there are.
They love learning and experiencing new things. Although they do attend a Title I school, this has not dampen their desire to learn. Many of them have not visited places outside of their community; technology makes it possible for students to take virtual field trips all around the world.
My Project
My students will use the tablet to take pictures of the fine art located in their community. They will study the history of the art as well as art from around the world. The students will reproduce some of the art that they studied using the tablet and a projector to produce the images on art paper, they will trace the art and use different art medians to complete their painting. I am hoping that my students can do an art exhibit for the school.
Your donations will allow my students to study and appreciate art on a budget.
This project will allow my students to present their class Art Exhibit to the school and their community.
