My students are energetic, inquisitive, and outgoing tenth graders in a Title I school in a poverty stricken area of Arkansas. These students are faced with poverty and need many things to help them to be successful and able to compete with the charter and private schools in our area. These students need materials that catch their attention and make them more interested in Biology. My students need to be exposed to the latest technology in order to compete in this high paced technological world that we live in today. However, our school is suffering with declining enrollment which results in decreased funding. This decrease in funding has resulted in my students not being prepared to meet the challenges of this technology based society.

About my class
