My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds and possess diverse learning aspects. My eighth graders are excited about learning and coming into class daily to participate and contribute to the classroom culture. This actually motivates me, as a teacher, to strive to do more and give more.

Unfortunately, I am not able to integrate an aspect of technology, that they love so much, effectively, due to its inadequacy .

They are able to, when given technology, merge their creativity and create wonderful end products.

My Project

My eighth graders need a classroom printer to print out completed writing assignments. Most of my ELL students lack the basic digital aspects of printing at home. Most times, the school printer is overloaded with print jobs either from teachers or administration, and this makes it a bit hard to assist my students .

Sometimes student papers get lost or mixed up with other print jobs in the workroom.

Having a printer in the classroom will be ideal and convenient as students' papers will be easily located and managed accordingly. Students can quickly locate their papers and make quick corrections and correct any misconceptions without having to deal with mixed up print jobs.
