This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school, located in California, is proud to offer a unique elective course on Podcasting for middle school students. The program was initiated in the academic year 2023-2024 and has been a great success. It has provided students with an opportunity to create and develop their own shows and build a loyal audience. It is worth noting that the majority of the students had no prior experience in audio/video, writing, or public speaking. The program has not only helped them develop these skills but also enables them to continue to use these 21st Century skills in highschool and beyond.

To take our School Podcast (Eagle Time!) to the next level, I am asking for help purchasing 3 live-streaming cameras to upgrade our current operation.

As this is a daily class, the cameras will be used for every episode of the podcast created by the students.
