This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Math is a challenging subject especially when English isn’t your first language. Some of my students are already apprehensive when they enter the classroom on the first day of school because they struggle with math. Others are eager learners and hard workers but can become easily discouraged because it quickly gets more difficult especially when numbers sense is an area that needs Improvement. I want to do everything I can to keep math exciting and continue to motivate every learner.

My Project

Students individual space is an important thing to remember and the privacy partitions will help keep them on track when they are meant to be working independently. This makes every student feel like they have their own private office space, and it sets the environment of the room.

Whiteboards are an important tool for a quick check for student understanding during a lesson, and also students enjoy using them to help aid in visualizing and working out difficult math problems.

They are a great tool to use to keep every student involved during highly engaging math games as well as every day lessons
