These resources have made a real difference in how my 13 middle school SPED students learn and grow every day.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were excited and eager to use them. They immediately began engaging with the instructional tools during lessons, hands-on activities, and classroom job routines. For example, students used the new materials to follow multi-step directions, organize their work, and practice functional living skills like cleaning and maintaining their learning spaces. These hands-on experiences have boosted their confidence, independence, and engagement.\r\n\r\nThe supplies and instructional materials have also made our classroom more organized and effective, allowing each student to participate fully and safely in lessons and daily routines. Moving forward, we continue to use these materials to reinforce academic concepts, functional skills, and life skills, helping students grow into confident, capable learners. Your support has had a lasting impact on our classroom and my students' success.","fullyFundedDate":1758229833333,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-students-through-functional-l/9655784/","projectTitle":"Empowering Students Through Functional Living Skills","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rose C. Because of you, our students now have lyres and flip folders that have completely transformed the way we rehearse and perform at pep band events. In the past, students relied on bulky music stands that were difficult to transport and distracting to set up. Now, their music is securely attached to their instruments, allowing them to focus fully on reading music, listening to one another, and playing with confidence.\r\n\r\nThis project has had a meaningful impact on student learning. Students are developing stronger music-reading skills and improved focus during performances. They are also learning responsibility by caring for shared equipment and taking pride in a more professional performance setup. Most importantly, they feel supported and valued, knowing that others believe in their growth as musicians.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly excited to continue using this equipment for upcoming pep band performances, and we are deeply grateful for your interest in and support of our band class. They carefully organized and stored all the supplies and were very grateful knowing that there is individuals out there that care and love their animals as much as they do. \r\n\r\nDavid, one of our students, used some of our new supplies to reset one of our guinea pig cages. He was very meticulous and carefully reconstructed the animals hay bale, Water tray and food dish. I am truly grateful and inspired every time I see my students' working together and utilizing their supplies while sharpening each other's minds in my Math class.\r\n\r\nMy students are also thankful that there are pencils available for them to use in my class anytime.
