This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
"To learn to read is to light a fire; every syllable that is spelled out is a spark." (Victor Hugo) I would like to give my students the opportunity to obtain early literacy skills utilizing a fun and exciting environment that is stress-free.
I would like to utilize various writing mediums and differentiated instruction to enhance early writing skills.
Since many of my students are very young, utilizing interesting and exciting learning centers would help my students focus on crucial skills needed to become strong writers.
I would like to provide my students with various writing tablets so that they can explore the beginning writing process. The copy paper would allow my students to freely explore the writing process. The card stock would allow me to make booklets to help students keep their writing organized. The booklets would allow me to record and monitor growth through the beginning stages of the writing process.
