My students have a wide range of vocabulary development. They are highly motivated, but they lack crucial language acquisition skills. We are a Title I school. My students enjoy learning and I would like to provide them with a rigorous curriculum that would build on their prior knowledge. I would like to provide proficiency through differentiated instruction and various rigorous methods enabling my students to become successful in the next grade. Many of my students have the capability to go beyond grade level standards. I would like to motivate them through small group instruction and exciting hands-on activities.
