Help me give my students free access to a washer and dryer to help address their personal care needs.

Our program serves first-time 9th graders who would benefit the most from a small environment where they have immediate access to intensive academic and social-emotional support. Our program is housed at a satellite campus located about 3 miles from the main comprehensive campus. Our program is designed for students to avoid the distractions of a large high school environment so they can focus on academics. Our class sizes do not exceed 15 students, so that we can provide a more personalized learning experience. We partner with Communities in Schools to provide our families with connections to outside resources that include food and housing assistance, mental health services, in addition to advocating for student academic support.
Because we have a smaller environment, we are finding that our students have the potential and drive to succeed, but they are faced with various barriers in their home life.
We want to provide all of the resources that we can to help our students become prepared to thrive in the 21st century, equipped with career-readiness skills, as well as general life-skills.
After spending time getting to know our students and their families, we have done a needs assessment. Many of our students do not have access to laundry resources at home, including limited access to a washer, dryer, and laundry detergent. Several of our students have experienced utilities being cut off, and some are dealing with homelessness.
We want to help remove the barrier of our students worrying about being teased for wearing clothes that are not clean.
This addresses the issue of bullying, and helps with hygiene and self-confidence. Our students and their families will have access to the laundry room.
