Student costumes bring the dances to life!

Help me give my students costumes to liven up their 70's dance. When students can wear and make costumes it makes the dances much more exciting and professional looking for the audience and the students become more engaged.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at this school are not always able to purchase their own costumes for performances. And if they can, it is more difficult to ensure everyone will have the same thing. When all the students are dressed the same and the costumes match the theme of the dance, it makes the performance look that much better.

Students get more excited when they are given costumes.

They feel special and they have more energy when they perform. They also learn a sense of responsibility by taking care of the costume.

For the audience, costumes make the performance stand out and look more professional. The story of the dance is easier to understand with costumes and they are generally more entertained.
