Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from low-income families and they get excited over the little things. I love to see them so proud of themselves and this camera will help with that by taking pictures and instantly giving pictures to hang on our classroom "pride" wall.
It is crucial for students to build confidence in their work and to be able to display the process will help them to recognize effort goes a long way.
I look forward to rewarding my students with confidence building of having this camera to assist me with this! I will also be able to integrate technology which is always an excitement for students!
My Project
This project will support my ability to instill confidence and teach about taking ownership of their student work. It will also be able to teach students how to be happy for others once another classmate's picture is placed on the wall.
I will also use this as a tool for crafts.
I can take their picture and post it on the back of their craft for later viewing and remembrance of Kindergarten.
The possibilities are endless and the demographic I work with would be more than appreciative of this and would be delighted to have pictures to help them remember their education year!
