My Project

Hi, I'm Nurse Ashley, and I love my students at CES so very much! Each and every one of them are special and deserve to feel loved. As a school employee, and not their parent/guardian, there is only so much that I can do to make them feel loved - providing clean clothing when needed is one of those ways.

Here at CES, we have a Student Clothing Closet.

This closet is stocked (ideally) with pants/shorts, shirts, undergarments, socks, shoes, winter coats, and winter hats/gloves. All items are donated. These items are used for our students when they have accidents, when spills occur, mishaps on the playground happen, as well as when they arrive at school in soiled, ill-fitting or seasonally inappropriate clothing, and even when clothing is simply inappropriate for the school environment.

When items are used from the Student Clothing Closet, we would generally like to have the items returned, though rarely does that happen. In some cases, the clothing is also needed at home, and in those cases we don't expect the borrowed items to be returned. Our stash has been depleted this year; items are not being returned and donations have decreased. We need your help in making our students feel loved, and CLEAN, by helping stock our Student Clothing Closet!
