This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Paper and pencils down....magnetic letters up! Help us get "Stuck on Words" using fun magnetic letter tiles!

My first graders are a smart and energetic group of children.

They come to school each day with excitement and a desire to gain knowledge despite their poverty and socioeconomic issues. The students at our school are racially diverse and many face the added challenge of being English Language Learners.

My Project

Are there any moms out there who try to sneak veggies into their children's favorite foods? I know I do! And, as a teacher, I am always trying to sneak learning into fun activities! Using magnetic letter tiles during literacy centers is a great way to do that! Magnetic letters are versatile and able to be easily differentiated to meet the needs of all my students.

Magnetic letter tiles can be used for all learners at every level.

My at-risk students can use them to help alphabetize/sequence the letters, my on-level learners will use them to create word families and sight words while my advanced learners will be manipulating the letter tiles to create new words from old ones and create sentences!
