My Project

This school year, I will be teaching music at two elementary schools and working with students in grades K–5. A class set of ukuleles would provide engaging, hands-on learning opportunities that help students build musical skills, confidence, creativity, and teamwork. My goal is to create meaningful, interactive music experiences that foster a lifelong love of learning and music while ensuring every student has the opportunity to participate and succeed.

For many of my students, the music classroom is the only place they will have the chance to learn to play an instrument.

Having enough ukuleles for an entire class means every child can actively participate, explore new talents, and experience the excitement of creating music together instead of simply watching from the sidelines.

Your support will help transform my classroom into a welcoming space where students are encouraged to take risks, celebrate their progress, and discover that they are capable of achieving more than they ever imagined. The skills they gain—perseverance, collaboration, self-expression, and confidence—will extend far beyond the music room and stay with them for years to come.
