My Students

My students are the exemplification of what hard work and a passion for the arts can bring to the world. Though our program is small it is certainly mighty. My kids are some of, if not the most dedicated young adults I have ever met.

The most welcome sight is seeing students arrive every morning and head straight for the music room, simply to be where they feel inspired and at home.

So many of them are truly in love with music, though sometimes they refuse to admit it, and they take pride in everything they do, not just in the arts. With such a wide array of involvement and commitments it is truly wonderful that music is the main focus of so many of these aspiring musicians.

My Project

Our students have the ability to take music classes during the school day as part of their overall curriculum. These classes are General Music, Digital Recording and Advanced Music Theory. Each semester we have seen growth in each of these classes and are seeking new and inspiring ideas for instruction.

These guitars can help to create a lasting memory from their musical experience.

In building skills on a universal instrument, like keyboard or guitar, students can gain musical knowledge as well as ignite a passion for music that was not present before.

With the inclusion of guitars in our curriculum we can dive into the history or Rock and Roll, jazz, music theory, and MUCH more! The possibilities are almost limitless, and we hope to be able to strum up some young musicians to join our classes.
