Our small but mighty program needs your help! Our bass drum is likely to see its last performance in the near future. The current setup is a standalone drum on a stand, requiring some strategic planning when moving and setting up the drum. Several students are afraid to play the bass drum correctly (a.k.a. loudly!) because it risks falling off the stand or moving away from them. With a new bass drum our percussion students will be one big hit closer to the true percussive experience they need! Having the proper equipment for practice and performance can make all the difference in music, as well as life. Not only will this new bass drum help our percussionists, but the rest of the band and the music appreciating community are sure to appreciate such a major addition.
