Help me give my students an acoustic guitar, case with straps, tuner, and picks. This pack will allow students to have an amazing start to the class with everything they need all in one place!

My Project

These guitars will help ensure that students who want to play the guitar will have the opportunity to do so, regardless of their financial situation. Furthermore, we can guarantee that students will have a solid working instrument available to them.

My goal is to provide the best possible experience for every student who enters our classroom.

If our students have to share an instrument, or play on one that is not fully functional, then they are not receiving the best possible instruction.

A wonderful aspect about these guitars is that we will be able to utilize them for several years to come. Already in our first year, we have 80 students in our guitar program! If that trend continues, in ten years time, we could easily serve over 1,000 young guitarists!

We truly need more than 5 guitars, and hopefully, your generosity will allow us to secure even more!

I have already witnessed the joy on my students' faces when they learned to play a basic chord or "Twinkle Tinkle Little Star" on one string. Their faces light up when they realize that they can truly make music. In this regard, my students are like students everywhere. They want, need, and DESERVE the opportunity to learn firsthand the power of music in our lives.

More importantly, they learn to be proud of themselves for what they are accomplishing. They will build on this success in the future, not only in my class, but in all of their other classes as well. What greater life skill can we instill in our children than learning to take pride in their work, in all areas of their life?
