Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students who will hopefully benefit from this project are in grades 3-6 in the second largest urban school system in Massachusetts. 97% of the students enrolled qualify for free or reduced lunch. The majority of the students are ELL (English Language Learners) and the number of students who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities and qualify for special education services exceeds local and statewide percentages. My students persevere daily despite the lack of supplies and equipment. I would love to try and even the playing field to give the students fun and interctive activities that every child deserves.
