Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am moving back into a fourth-grade classroom at a NEW SCHOOL. This classroom will be filled with the most unique and outstanding students. My students come equipped with magnificent minds, determination to learn, and the ability to think deeper. My fourth-grade classroom has become a place of challenge, discovery, and comfort to ensure their success. Students spend their year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need to continue to grow and succeed in advanced grades while enjoying flexible seating.

Flexible seating has greatly contributed to my students' success.

These chairs allow organized movement in a structured environment. The glides allow movement while in a normal chair, helping to create movement while balancing bigger class sizes. The color options allow students to be grouped in numerous ways to create movement and peer learning within the classroom.

This will allow my students to have comfort, structured movement, aides collaboration, and bring in community-style learning. Help me provide a seat for all my students. With my class size increasing, I do not have enough options for all my students. Flexible seating has proven to be beneficial, and I hope to have the chance to continue it for my increasing classes to come. I had to leave all my previous materials at my old school.
