Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to help my class start the year off right with the tools we need to create a classroom community that feels good and fun to learn in. Every school year, we start off the year by co- creating classroom promises. The anchor chart paper will. be used to help co- construct beginning of the year routines, procedures and expectations. We also use it throughout the year to create different anchor charts in science and writing.

The astro- bright and laminating paper will be used to print and laminate different posters and resources that will be used throught the school year.

For example, after learning about a science concept, we will practice applying it using task cards or different stations. We also color code our units and science journals for organization and quick reference. The headphones will be used multiple times during the year in my science podcast and science video station. Multiple kids can listen simultaneously while I pull small groups or work with a group at a station.

All these materials are used to get my science year started and will not go to waste!
