Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an eager group of learners! They come to class every day with smiles on their faces, excited for the opportunities of the day. I work in a Title I school in Utah.
Even with the day to day challenges these kids face, they always are ready to learn.
I am inspired daily by their efforts, eagerness, and dedication! My students look forward to their time at school and want nothing more than opportunities to grow and learn!
My Project
The materials that I am asking for will help bring the world into the 4 walls of my classroom. My students have spent majority of their educational careers with COVID-19 standing over them. The world that they could once explore has been confined for many of them to their homes and schools only.
The reading materials that I am asking for will help bring the world to them.
Not only will they be able to learn about current events, but these materials will also help keep their curiosity high and their interest in learning about the world continue.
