As a first year teacher in a Title I School, I am trying to create an exciting classroom for my students to enter in every day. With limited funds, outfitting my classroom is a challenge. Having a great area rug to bring my students to as a group will be essential to not only classroom management, but also make the room bright and welcoming. Area rugs create a location in the classroom where we can come together to not only learn, but also create our community. By having a rug that is large enough for every student to have their own space, all will feel welcomed and included.

About my class
