Stretchy Bands!

My Project

Maybe when you hear the words stretchy bands, you think of the rubber band-like bracelets that were cool in the early 2000's. Those were great, and a lot of fun, but what we are talking about in this project is a big, stretchy circle that can be shared by 30 students.

It looks like a giant scrunchy but it is so much more!

It is a wonderful, whole class movement prop that helps get students excited about moving to the music! It helps my littlest friends form a circle, it can be stretched big and small, raised up and down, and moved all around with the music.

We love our stretchy band so much that we are hoping to add two more to our collection so that we can use them for performances.
