My Project

Our young learners are full of curiosity, energy, and creativity, and music is one of the most powerful ways they express themselves. These musical instruments and materials will help students develop early listening skills, coordination, rhythm, and confidence—all while having fun learning and exploring sound.

For many of our students, this will be their very first experience with musical instruments and music education.

Your donation will open the door to creativity, joy, and meaningful learning experiences that will stay with them for years to come. A mobile cubby cart will organize our musical instruments and materials and make them visible and accessible to young learners. With clearly stored trays students will be able to independently select musical instruments and practice responsibility. The mobility of the cart also allows us to adapt our space to meet classroom needs.

A large stretchy band is a wonderful tool for young children because it combines music, movement, and teamwork. When children hold the band and move it together to music, they are learning rhythm, beat, listening skills, and coordination. The stretchy band also helps build social skills as students must work together, take turns, and follow directions. For many young learners, especially those who need movement, the band provides a safe and engaging way to express themselves through music while developing gross motor skills, cooperation, and self-regulation.

Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) will help us find high-quality music and art lessons. These lessons include songs, rhythm activities, movement games, and art projects that are designed for young learners. TPT allows teachers to choose engaging, age-appropriate materials that support creativity, listening skills, fine motor skills, and self-expression. Students will be able to explore music and art in fun and meaningful ways!
