My Project

Several years ago, I participated in a teacher training with John Feieraband, a leading authority on music and movement development. My students and I need a large stretchy band and a set of class beanbags to incorporate the Feierabend approach during music class. Many of our old movement manipulatives are ripped and falling apart so a new class set would be delightful! This approach strives for children to become tuneful, beatful, and artful through research-based and developmentally appropriate pedagogies that use quality literature. My students will accomplish these goals by learning folk songs and dances with this equipment.

By donating to this project, students will be able to become a community of musicians.

Our classroom environment will improve because we will have appropriate resources. This is teamwork at its finest.
