My Project

This is my first year in a new district. My students sit in hard traditional chairs in the majority of their classes all day. It is my goal to create a safe and supportive environment for them to complete even the most trying work comfortably.

We all know that meeting basic needs before tackling learning is a foundation of educational growth.

Two things that my students need are a sensory-friendly and flexible seating arrangement in the resource room, and dependable writing utensils offered without question or judgement.

As we get to know each other, and the needs of the group, we have identified these things for our wishlist this year.
