My Students

My kindergarten through sixth grade students are enthusiastic learners, especially when it comes to projects that are infused with technology! With the help of our STEM activities, the excitement and energy is authentic for all to see.

My students typically enter the classroom ready to explore, create, share, and produce.

I have seen so many talented writers, producers, artists, and scientists find their voices and their "I can do it!" using technology and other STEM tools. The climate in our classroom is one of "Hands On - Minds On" learning. My favorite part of each class is when I say "Clean up time" and I can hear the groans.

My Project

Our K-4 STREAM students have been so fortunate to have received so many STEM projects and materials through the generous donations of our community members, STEM educational supply companies, and local and national grants.

Our new projects and supplies need a home in our classroom!

The students who attend STREAM know exactly where to find what they need and how to put it back properly. We are able to do this because of our storage containers. We do not have any more containers left and having them will help keep our classroom material use system organized.

It is amazing to see the students use our classroom and know exactly where to find what they need and how to care for it at the end of each class.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
